This is so good for making iced mochas! I like it so much better than the syrup, which I've used for years. It's so much easier, better shelf life and tastes better too!

I live in the mountains so having a Frappuccino blended for me is a 50 mile drive. It became a mission to find a way to make my comfort drink. I am a Frappuccino aficionado & finding this Ghirardelli Vanilla flavor is hands down my absolute favorite! Seriously, it's that good. I use my Nespresso Coffee pods & brew 12oz of coffee. I pour the coffee in a jar & refrigerate it. After it's chilled I put:
6oz of the cold brew in a blender
1 full scoop of the Vanilla Frappuccino Mix
1 1/2 cups of ice
& Voila! A 16+oz delicioso Ghirardelli Coffee Frappuccino! I do this every day, at least, because IT TASTES THAT GREAT!! I have a subscription so I always have it on hand. And, the price for a 3lb tub costs less than four Grande sized Frappuccino's. I can also fine tune my drinks & get creative by making my own.

Love the product but received it without the scoop. Contacted the seller and they shipped me another one; however, it still arrived without the scoop.

I purchased this because we got hooked on the frappe drinks from Starbucks during vacation...like drinking chocolate shakes except with a jolt of caffeine. Good flavor and thick texture.

The recipe on the package says to use 1/4 cup for an 8 oz drink. IMO, you can use less and get good results. The instructions make it clear to use cold coffee (espresso). I made the mistake of pouring freshly-brewed espresso onto the frappe powder and ended up with a big clot of goo in the blender. Instead, be sure to add cold milk to hot ingredients first, then add the powder to the blender. The mix includes food gum to make the drinks 'thick', when hot stuff hits the mix, it causes the gum to gel. (Live and learn)

Also made a delicious strawberry shake using this stuff...fresh strawberries, milk and ice... we didn't have ice cream to make so I tried this instead with delicious results...just like ice cream.

I still use protein powder (Silver Star Nutrition is great stuff) for my 'healthy' fruit smoothies and reserve this stuff just for treats. Lotsa sugar.

This is a money-saver if you like frappes from a coffee shop. I mix in caramel syrup and mocha syrup and it's as good, if not better, than the best coffee shop chain.
