Best waterless wash!
DanAtxcorgi✓ Verified Purchase•January 5, 2018
This is the best waterless wash I've used! I've tried Adams, Chemical Guys, Dri-wash and Guard, and Optimum. This one is great because it flashes very fast with minimal wiping and buffing. I haven't had any streaking problems, even on glass. Most importantly, this can be used any time of day, even in the evening with more moisture in the air. The only downside I have is that it doesn't smell as great as Adams. I'm a professional detailer, and have replaced glass cleaner and detail spray with this waterless wash.
Works great - revolutionary!

Works surprisingly well. Didn't realize how good it was until I had some friends over recently. All the guys were hanging out in the garage, and I was showing them how it worked. When we came back upstairs, one of the wives asked where we were. One of the guys said, "In the garage learning how to wash a car without water". We laughed - but it's true. This winter will be a good test. The microfiber towels that came with are awesome. Probably the best I've used.
A little goes a long way.

This kit is great, and a little goes a long way. I live in New York City where literally no one has a backyard hose where they can clean their car (even the NYPD cruisers get washed at the local car wash), and with prices starting at $13 for a basic car wash, keeping a car clean can be expensive. After shelling out close to $40 for a cleaning and wax package at the local car wash one weekend, I was dismayed to find my car covered in bird droppings the next day. I jumped on the internet in search of a car wash spray, and came upon Grio's Garage product.
The system is super easy to use; just spray and wipe. A little goes a long way, and a bit of spray and one towel can quickly wash my entire compact car. It leaves the surfaces clean and shiny, removes dirt film and bird droppings (with a little elbow grease if it's dry). Just the other day, as I was driving to work on the highway, I got hit with what looked to be applesauce all over the front hood, windshield, roof and back hood of my car. The minute I parked at work, I was able to whip the spray and towel out of my trunk, and remove all of the gunk before it dried. And the car looked freshly washed.
The only downside is that the spray inevitably leaves a milky film on the side mirrors that I then have to clean as well. No matter how careful I am, it still gets on there. You'll also have to apply a bit of elbow grease to anything that's dried on the car, such as bug spatter or bird droppings, because the system doesn't produce as much moisture as a the old fashioned hose and sponge combo.

This stuff is the jam.
I have two uses for it. One is to wash a moderate layer of lose dust off the car a week after the wash so I spend 5 minutes wiping it down to look clean again instead of a 35 minute wash.
The other use is when I wax. I'm a slow waxer, so I end up doing it over a few days. I'll hit the area I want to wax with this a day or two after my wash and wax that area. I don't have to rush to wax the whole car immediately after the wash that way.
It's pretty streaky, and it's hyper streaky on windows. When I use it for a quick wash, I basically just do the large highly visible areas, then I save a dry portion of the long nap plush microfiber (traps more dirt for scratch protection) and wipe all the streaky oil goo off with that dry area. I do clean my windows with it as well, but I hit them with windex afterwards.
I would give this 5 stars, but honestly the value is rough... it gets used quick... and it is a little streaky. It's a great product but it's not the perfect product. I highly recommend it but it's also something you could live without so... yeah.

I love washing and detailing my car - but since moving to Boston using a hose and traditional car wash solution was no longer an option living in the city. My car currently parks outside in an uncovered parking spot and picks up quite a bit of dust and bird droppings throughout the week. I decided it was finally time to wash my car, but since I don't like bringing my car to the car wash I looked for other options to do it myself. The waterless spray-on car wash looked like my best bet so I pulled the trigger and it has by far exceeded my expectations of what waterless car wash can do!
I drive a Subaru Crosstrek and used about 4 microfiber towels total for the entire car. I purchased high quality microfiber towels to be sure not to scratch my car in the process since there is no water involved to initially wash off the dust and dirt. I followed the directions and the results were great. The car looked like it got a wash and wax in one with how shiny it ended up looking. I didn't drench the car in car wash, but used a fair amount and there was still about 3/4 left in the bottle. For city dwellers and people who want to wash their car quick with good results, Griot's Garage offers a really nice waterless car wash. In the future I'll be looking to buy the gallon size after I finish using my 22 oz bottle.
