Stay Far Away! See video showing a failure that others have also reported where the unit reports OVERLOAD when clearly it can not be overloaded when you have NOTHING plugged in. If it can fail on something as simple as this...I am then concerned over the charing system...If that fails..you can be in for much larger issues as others have found out.
For the price, these UPS's can't be beat

For the price, these UPS's can't be beat. Modified sinewave (which I always thought should really be called modified SQUAREwave, since that is what is actually produced), but except for waveform sensitive loads like motors and medical equipment, that's fine. I use these as short-term power backups for home networking equipment and entertainment center. Losing a server,switch, access point or end user device in an outage is a pain to recover from - sessions and authorizations drop, IP address conflicts occur if DHCP is involved, basically shut everything down and reboot to recover. Meanwhile wife gets angry she can't watch Netflix...you know, serious 1st world problems! I have a 20KW whole-house backup generator that takes a couple of minutes to power up and activate the auto-transfer switch when it senses an outage. A few of these CyberPower boxes spread around the home network provide more than sufficient coverage to keep things up until the genny kicks takes over.

Works well for my 4x Nest outdoor cameras. I have this setup in my attic and my cameras run off extension cords that all feed from this backup. I tested it by shutting off the power to my house and was able to get more than 5 hours of run-time powering my cameras (during the day, no infrared needed). That's plenty for my intended use.
Note: if you use this for a similar security setup, ensure you also get a battery backup for your internet modem and router. I have my exterior cable junction box and power box locked with heavy duty combination locks + battery backups, so even if someone cuts the power to my house or tries messing with my internet connection, my cameras will keep running and capture the fool up to no good.

Cyberpower or APC?

This product works well so far. But, all of these UPS usually do. It's only a percentage that do fail regardless of brand name. (You know this given the small number of 1 star reviews among so many reviews and hundreds of reviews means it's less likely to be faked.)
The big question is which do I pick Cyberpower or APC? Perhaps like some of you, I spent several hours, reading all the reviews here and other websites. I wanted to figure out which is THE best. Of course, it's theoretically impossible to do this with certainty unless you test like a 1000 of each via advanced technical equipment. So, I base my opinion on simply seeing how many bad reviews there are relative to the good reviews. I also assessed the quality of the reviews. Before committing several hours, I was thinking it would be APC given it's an American company but I was surprised that it looks like they are pretty much equal in terms of how many fail. And, apparently, they do fail... So, if they equally fail, how is the warranty?
WARRANTY - Equally bad. It appears both companies have a pretty bad reputation of denying warranty claims when something does go wrong. Denying the warranty seems standard industry practice. Cyberpower, it seems, will just categorically deny all warranties. Make you jump hoops to provide evidence and then just deny the claim. Similarly, APC will deny nearly all claims. It may slightly be better but it's very, very slight. They both stink.
PRICE MAKES CYBERPOWER THE WINNER. But, I would go with Cyberpower because of the price. If they have all the same features, Cyberpower seems to always be cheaper. And, when they are equal in price, you'll notice that Cyberpower will always have one extra feature that tips the balance.

Good for small, low power needs. Be sure to buy the bigger size if you have a power hungry computer.

This has Linux support so that's almost an instant win for me in this price point. Be advised however the smallest model is just not enough power to run a fancy computer. The UPS was not enough juice to power either my desktop or my media server in the basement for more than 3 minutes. No big deal, I will use these for other, less power hungry electronics. Keep in mind if you have a 400w power supply, that will draw more energy than this unit can provide. :) Sounds so simple when I say it now, but it never occurred to me when I bought these.
I jumped onto Amazon to buy 2 of the bigger units to power my home server and Mac and thought I'd write this real quick to help others.
