Original shipment was missing one sidewall. I contacted seller & they responded very quickly & had the missing piece shipped the same day.

These are just amazing pots that create the strongest root system a container plant can have. If you are in a hot climate like I am make sure to water frequently.

So, I have waited until I could see results to write some sort of review. I am indoors using these pots and my plants are much more healthy and BIGGER than those grown side by side in fabric "smart" pots AND knock-off airpots from eBay. The pot works exactly as it should, drying out quickly so I can feed and feed; unlike the fabric pot - which appears to hold onto water longer and lock up more salts/ferts.

Some cons:
- Gnats do love those holes.
- Not really a con but, rapid growth...your plants will get huge fast...so be ready.
- Tricky to water/learning curve for some if used indoors. Unless you have an irrigation system of sorts or wrap the pot or place in a bucket to cover the holes, you WILL be watering every 1-3 days (depending on size and species of plant).
- VERY Expensive (especially since I'm watering more too!)
- Shipping speed

Comparison:
I am testing against a cheaper version, same size, airpot bought on eBay (no color bottom and they give you a ziplock bag of small white clips to screw together the pot), while very similar just not as easy to use as this brand..for me, it was easier to bottom feed using this pot than the knock off. However, I think I can quickly modify the knock-off to work exactly like the Superoots pot to save me some money.

These are excellent! Easy to wash off in between grows, and these really make a HUGE difference in your plants health and performance. Just make sure you have a tray to set under this. You will also need to learn how to water your plants in these so that you eliminate excess runoff. Just get them, you wont be disappointed. Believe that!

My husband's the gardener of the family, but from what I've gathered, he loves this pot! Everything we've grown in there so far has turned out very healthy and grows very well. No issues with over-watering or root rot. While the aesthetics aren't the best, the end product has been great. Not necessarily the pot for flowers, but highly recommended if you're wanting more production from your fruits/veggies! I'll be buying him at least 1 or 2 more for future use!

I haven't actually used this pot yet. My lemon tree is happily growing in one size smaller (the green one) and sprouting it's first lemons. I anticipate it will need a bigger pot come summer. It will be interesting to see the density of the root ball when I switch.
