great addition to shuffleboard table for additional gaming

I have a 16 foot table and the pins work pretty well on it. I would think if you had a shorter table that it wouldn't be as much fun because it would be too easy. Throwing the ball is a little awkward because your initial urge is throw it underhand, but that doesn't work unless you are standing on a platform. You can throw a modified sort of throw and make it fun. I feel like over time we will be more likely to just use the puck. Another reviewer mentioned it, and I will second it - the ball does leave a trail in the wax on the table. I would probably play shuffleboard on the fresh wax, then bowl with the ball once we've played several games and we're ok with messing with the wax layer.
The package didn't include the dry erase marker as pictured, but I have a ton of them so it wasn't too big of a deal. Still,it should include all the parts. It is also a little smaller than I expected, but if it was much bigger it would be too easy.
Coming up with house rules will probably be more likely than playing by standard bowling rules, but we'll see. I think it will be a fun alternative to traditional shuffleboard games.

Nice addition to the game. The bowling ball is very big. Wish I would have just bought pins. We use our pucks and it works just fine
