I returned this item because it was way to stiff for my 19 foot Lund Tyee. I found another brand that had the flex I needed. I'd say these are for a very large boat. How large, I'm not sure but the supplier should give more information out to avoid unnecessary returns. The headaches of ordering online.

Okay these work awesome ONCE YOU GET THEM ON THE MOORING LINES ... which is VERY difficult to do with 5/8" lines. The product description says that they accommodate 5/8" lines, but not without significant effort. Less lines probably would fit easily through. I've read that dish soap makes the process easier, but I haven't tried that yet. If you have a big boat, in the water, exposed to waves/wind, do yourself (and your boat) a favor and install at least 4 of these snubbers.
