I was worried after reading all the reviews so I ordered this set for spare parts because I really only needed the pieces for 4 cakes. We traveled with the plastic pieces after receiving them. After a great deal of handling I am glad to say there were no cracks or breaks and they were very sturdy for my heavy 3 layers cakes. The only thing I wish I had considered is that the fit the cakes exactly so there is no room for piping a finish around the bottom of each cake.

This looks great and works well for cupcake display. Its nice you can fill the tubes to decorate with the party colors.
Plus, you can arrange the different stands to make a beautiful display.
