I thought the great reviews were hype since I had tried another cuticle oil and had disappointing results. But this stuff really does work. I used it exactly as directed and couldn't be happier with the results. My hands are constantly in use and being washed, and my nails and cuticles get dried out and break/tear. I bought this as a last-ditch effort to get my cuticles in shape before winter comes, to prevent the cracked, painful fingertips I know are coming. Winter is still a few months away; but I believe that with regular use the Bliss Kiss will prevent the painful cracking I usually experience. I don't wear my nails long or get regular manicures, so I can't comment on its usefulness for repairing that kind of damage; but for dry cuticles and nails on hands that take a beating regularly, this stuff is fantastic.

I have been unable to grow my natural nails beyond stubs for my entire life, until I began to cover them with a layer of acrylic (no tips, just glue and dipping into acrylic powder). To change this into a fresh set, however, would take soaking my nails in acetone for an hour, which I knew was just terrible for them. Plus, they were still brittle and cracking. I learned that the health of the nail is largely dependent on the health of the cuticle, so I started investing in cuticle creams from all the different stores - nothing helped or worked. I finally decided to take the acrylics off and give this a try.

My nails were like the sahara desert, soaking up Bliss Kiss on the first day like a dying man thirsting for water. As I began to apply more and more layers of Bliss Kiss, my nails went from paper thin to bendable but hard. The cuticle area looked more and more healthy. My fingers never felt oily or gross like I wanted to wash them off. The proof is in the attached picture. I would recommend Bliss Kiss in a heartbeat to any friend. My 3-day challenge only used up most of one tube, so I'm excited to have three more tubes left, which I know will last me a long time. I say go for it and you won't regret it! I can't wait to see where my nail health goes from here.

After two months of applying the oil several times a day, and massaging it in at night, my nails are the longest they have ever been, with much less splitting and peeling. The "before" picture was what I used to consider "super-long" and I would soon have had to trim back to prevent breaking (you can see the index finger is already shorter from a break). I've also been using glass nail files instead of clippers. Once the damage from where I used to trim my cuticles with razor blades grows out (I know, I know, *cringe*) I expect that to stop entirely. Hat tip to Cristine of SimplyNailogical for the Bliss Kiss recommendation (HOLO!).

I think I broke the first pen I tried to refill, because I had to use pliers to pull it apart and I couldn't get it back together. Subsequent attempts have been successful. I use a section of shelf liner for grip, and wrap scotch tape around the seam of the cap so I'm not just pulling the cap off over and over. The various scents in the trial pack are nice, but I like the fragance-free oil because I can add a spritz or two of my favorite perfumes for custom scents.
My friends will all be getting these pens in their Christmas gifts!

I bought the multiple pack as a convenient way to give little gifts to my friends. There are a number of things I like about this product, not the least of which is how much it seems to be helping my nails. It is much less oily/drippy than OPI Avoplex, so I do not feel all oiled up when I've used it. My cuticles have most definitely benefited. My nails are slightly damaged after wearing gel nails for 6 months. I spent a couple days with out polish and just kept applying the oil frequently. I could really see how much better the nails looked after two days of of frequent treatment. I had some trouble with the twist top applicator not dispensing, but Bliss Kiss Customer Service helped me out with that - great communication and very helpful - Big Plus. Also, I love the brush. Beside using it to brush the oil around my finger tips, I find it has the exact amount of flex needed to gently clean under the nails. I find that metal points, orange sticks, and even traditional nail brushes tend to separate the flesh under the nail from the nail, making the white tips deeper and deeper, which I don't think is really good. With this brush, I can gently sweep away debris from under my nails. It takes a bit longer, but I feel better knowing I'm not removing layers of nail keratin from under the tips nor widening the gap between the nail and finger bed.

I've been using the Pure Cuticle & Nail oil for about a week and a half and I can already see and feel a difference in my nails! My nails always seem to be peeling and just straight up tearing off so as part of my new year's resolution to take better care of my hair, skin, and nails I started poking around on the net to find a way to fix that. The articles Ana posts on Bliss Kiss are so helpful and informative and I'm glad I found them when I did.
I also love the scent (I chose Crisp) and how easily the oil absorbs. I definitely plan on ordering more once these handy little pens run out!
