I'm using it to attach my dust collector to a table saw that has a 4" vertical outlet. It sort of works but unless I twist it on really hard, which is difficult to do due to it's location, it falls off on its own, which, of course, makes a mess and I don't notice until I'm finished using the saw. It works better on my planer which is an easily accessible horizontal attachment.
