Worked just fine..don't short circuit it.

Worked just fine...for two days. Unfortunately, my wiring had a short due to a staple bridging the wires. Two days later, it had died. I cannot blame the maker for my short circuit, but it might be nice if it included some overload protection with a fuse or circuit breaker.

Installed 3 of these for lighting LED strips. 9 months later one is dead (pulses on and off) and another is dying (lights are dim). One of the 3 is still going strong. It will power any of the other strips properly. I'm not buying this again. EDIT: actually it was 4 installed and only one is left working after 9 months. Hooked up a 15 year old PC power supply and all going strong for 1 month now.
Runs smooth and simply works, even in harsh and hot environment.

Cheap DVR system wen down in a clients gas station. The power supply was bad, go figure. This has been running 24/7 for 3 months now with no issues. Solid stream of power, no over heating even though it is in a very warm location with compressors that heat the room to 85 F typically.
The inline transformer is way too big for the application ...

The inline transformer is way too big for the application. I bought this to power a LE Flexible LED Light Strip. I can't help but think they could integrate the transformer into the plug. It does power the light strip but takes up too much counter space.
Emits high pitched annoying hum!

Ordered two of these to power installed under cabinet LED lighting strips. One works fine, no issues. The other works BUT emits a high pitched hum that is difficult to ignore resulting in not wanting to use the lighting I installed! If you order this product, try it out immediately so you can still return it. I would not advise purchasing this product because of this.
