Pieces of shell in bag.

I want my money back. I used it once and there are cacao shells in this bag. I made a shake using it and when I went to drink shake I thought there were pieces of black plastic in it from something else. So I dumped my shake, inspected and cleaned my ninja and everything looked fine. I then opened Cacao bag handling the cacao and see there are pieces with the cacao shell on many of them. To afraid to even use this product now that I know there are pieces of shell in it. When they are blended in shake it comes out looking feeling like plastic. May be hard to tell by my picture but that is a shell. I usually hear back from Amazon when I have been displeased with a product. Especially when I say I want my money back. This time, I have heard nothing. I'm not going to use a product when very first I used this bag, there are shells in it! Very displeased

I eat cacao nibs a lot and have quite a few different brands. A lot of cocoa nibs have a lot of shells. This brand has far fewer shells than most. HOWEVER, I did find a rock in the nibs. Fortunately, I have learned to eat nibs carefully because of shells so no harm was done.
Other than the rock, these were meh. They were less bitter than some brands but also less chocolate flavor. Kind of dusty tasting.

I've bought 4 bag. Great quality and taste. Fast shipping. I've bought other cacao nibs and they had so much powder in the bag. This company has good pieces. Very happy with this product and seller.
I use them on Oatmeal, Chia and Flax Pudding, Yogurt, icecream, also a quick snack of whip cream with sliced strawberries and the nibs. Mmmmm so good. I also add them to different granola and nut bars I bake. Good in protein balls. My husband grinds some up with his coffee beans, he enjoys it very much.

as a chocolate maker, I can say was at Reserve that this is hands-down the best one on the market. Rich smooth taste and fine powder. I did a side-by-side taste test with two other top organic ones, which were bitter acrid or burnt taste in comparison. HealthWorks one hands down!
