No stars? I wanted to be a five star, but reality is, this product lasted less than two hours before it was destroyed by our 1 year old lab. The material seemed to be very tough and we thought ah! Finally.. However, for a 160$ bed they overlooked one glaring weakness in the design. A 20 cent zipper. If you want to develop a "tough" bed, spend the extra and get an industrial zipper, not one you might find on a pair of slacks.

Within two hours, the zipper was split and it was on, she had a grand old time tearing through the foam. If you want to continue with the cheap parts, at least put the zipper on the bottom of the bed where it would not be so vulnerable.

I called the company, not out of frustration but more to try and help them, help me, but was told, you purchased through Amazon, talk to them. Ok. So, I am returning the bed, as it is, to Amazon. It is not easy to get all this back in the original box but, it is in its way to the return department.

This was a good bed. My dog used it daily for 2 years and I am sure it helped alleviate her joint pain. Unfortunately, it is not completely waterproof. The cover seemed to be made from waterproof material, but my dog became incontinent during the last few months of her life and urine seeped through the zipper into the foam, which meant I had to throw it out before she passed away. Agree with other reviewers that inside of the cover cracked after washing. If that issue was fixed, I would likely purchase it again.

This is a great product. It is well make and fits great in standard crates. That said, one of the reasons I purchased this item was because it was made with a material that was chew resistant. Now I know there is nothing that is chew proof but I was hoping that material would last against my 9lb dachshund who is an anxiety chewer when we are not home. It took several attempts (though we did correct him when it occurred) yet he did manage to chew through the bed. So I give the bed a great rating because it is wonderful and well made bed, but it will not hold up against a persistent chewer.

I got this bed for my 60lb senior dog back in 2014. She loves it. There have been a couple of times the waterproof liner ripped (not due to my dog) and Big Barker kindly replaced it for me! They have outstanding customer service and stand by their products. The original bed and cover I got made a crinkle noise when my dog would walk on it, but they have updated it since and now it is noise free! I love that it's waterproof, and unlike other waterproof dog beds, this one doesn't get mildew-y inside. It's fairly easy to take the cover on and off to wash it. Best of all, she has less stiffness when she sleeps on it. Note that the bed doesn't completely fill the crate. There's an inch between the bed and crate all the way around. I wasn't happy with that at first, but they did it so that if liquid gets on the bed, it won't get on the floor - just the plastic tray under the crate.

My Obi-Wan LOVES his new crate pad! The material is durable and the therapeutic foam inside is SO comfortable! Lately my pup has taken to sleeping in his crate at night, rather than on my bed with me. It kind of makes me want a crate pad of my own, if it's that much more comfortable than my bed!
