Great Shakes!

I have searched many stores for decent salt and pepper shakers only to be disappointed. These are great! Easy to handle and use, and both the salt and pepper are dispensed in reasonable amounts. We bought an extra set, just in case we ever need them again. Thank you, Tumbler.

Darling shakers. Remind me of the 50's. My mom had these. They work so well in humid places, like Florida. We were staying out at the beach last week and the restaurant had them. I tried to buy a pair, but they didn't have any extras. So I tried Amazon and there they were! Haven't seen them anywhere. I'm so happy to have the best shakers, plus memories of my youth! â¤
SHOULD KEEP THE SALT DRY

I just got them and filled them and I believe from the way they are made that they won't let moisture affect the salt or pepper. I would have given it 5 starts if the lid stayed open a bit easier but all in all I am quite happy and I believe I need to get used to them. Never had ones that are like this. I am in FL and this is necessary and I am sure they will work.

My wife wanted covered salt and pepper shakers. Who knew these were so difficult to come by these days? Lo and behold, Amazon pulls through. Not much of a selection on Amazon but Amazon had these and they were perfect. Tight seal. And when you press down far enough there's like an indent there so there is less tension and easier to hold while you shake.

I had a very similar set of shakers for a long time, and needed new ones. These are great! I keep them on the counter, and never need to worry if someone or something accidentally knocks one over......no spills! I like that! Very nice, tight-enough springs keep those lids on! The vintage-look, patterned crystal-clear glass and the color-coded screw-on lids are attractive features.
