These work well, they stand out a bit on dark brown switch plates but I find the trade off acceptable. My porch light now stays on! I didn't need longer screws. I did remove a corner access port so that I can still turn the light on/off as needed.

I needed to put something over a wall switch that also controlled a socket that where I had a router and security hub connected. Every time I walked into the room and turned on the light (oops), it turned off the router/security hub. Not ideal. For some reason, I couldn't seem to avoid doing that every so often even though I knew better. These plastic covers fit over the switch and prevent my stupid fingers from switching off the important stuff. The only downside is that now Amazon recommends all sorts of Shabat items.

Easy to install, doesn't look all that bad, and provides access for manual override in the event you have to reboot a bulb. (Only happened once to me but I like the design.)

Solves a vexing problem of guests (or ourselves!) accidentally toggling switches with adverse consequences: automatic lights which change mode if the switch is toggled on/off quickly; lights that aren't visibly on in daylight and consequently inadvertently left on, ... So now, we have all our troublesome switches guarded. They can still be toggled, but only with some particular attention and thought.
