Great flavor and so easy to use when buttermilk is called for in a recipe! Thank you!

For the price, the quality is definitely there. I use this product in so many baked items, including pound cakes and buttermilk biscuits. The taste is closer to the real thing for me.

Use it in bead, pancakes etc.
Very useful...better than regular buttermilk in one of my biscuit recipes

I bought this because it seems safer than keeping buttermilk in my refrigerator (which I cannot do because if it's in there I will drink the whole container within a day. I know...I've got my kids totally grossed out but I can't help it. It's so good). Anyway I started making biscuits with it, and tried a new recipe. The recipe turned out GREAT, so I kept using that recipe. The last time I made the recipe, instead of using this powdered buttermilk and regular milk (which I had previously done every other time I made this great recipe), I used regular buttermilk because I had some. The recipe turned out pretty bad...and that was the only change I made. The texture was way too wet. This could be a total fluke with that particular recipe, but since I don't know how to fix it, and it was perfect when I made it before using the buttermilk powder, I'm going to keep on doing that.
I've also been adding a couple of T to my bread recipe and it gives the bread a very nice flavor and texture.
