I purchased these to use for permanent data backups. I haven't had any "coasters" so far, and they work fine with my equipment. A good value.

A bargain for backing up

I use these regularly for backing up files, I'm a photographer as a hobby/passion so sometimes have 30GB-100GB of data from a shoot. Backing that much up to a cloud service or even a home NAS would get astronomical quick, so I use these to make "good enough" backups of general work, and save only the very best for a cloud service. The discs all work, I haven't had a coaster yet or had an old disc fail to read.
