Second to none

This is great!! ProTapes is my go to for any tape that I need for productions. They are second to none in my book, and I have tried lots of different brands. This 1" neon green gaffers is perfect for marking anything that needs attention such as steps, low clearance, or if you are labeling something and want the eye to be drawn to it.
Best Gaff tape there is.

Owning a photo booth company, you use a LOT of Gaff tape. While it is still crazy expensive in my opinion, it is also a necessary evil.
Pro tapes brand has provided the best Gaff tape I've used to date, and hopefully will not have to ever use a different brand. If you need Gaff tape, don't think twice, just order this one. BTW 2-in works perfect for single or thin two-cable applications, although 3 in is much easier to lay down without having to be as precise.

This stuff is like GOLD on a set

This stuff is like GOLD on a set, and it's great to have a roll of your own. Easy to tear off the roll, adheres to most common surfaces without leaving a residue if using only for short term (days not months or years). On photo shoots with Paper backgrounds it will pull the top layer off of most of the common paper background (Savage especially).
This is the real deal - Profession Gaffers tape (tears well, cloth not plastic, the right adhesive.)

I started out my career in the film business on sets working with cameras, lighting, props & sets. Every department (camera, grip, lighting, props) had a short rope loop filled with assorted tape (perpetrate, camera tape, gaffers tape). 2" black gaffer's tape (the gaffer if the head lighting guy on a set by the way) was used for everything from taping down extension cords to taping diffusion to windows. I just bought a video projector and decided to paint a projection screen. I read that people use gaffers tape to frame their screens, so I decided do the same. We were all out of gaffers tape at work (ad agency) so I decided to buy myself a roll. Being so used to the real stuff I would been very upset to get the cheaper, hard to tear, stuff that doesn't hold as well or come off cleanly when you need it to. I'm happy to say that when this stuff showed up - it was exactly what I wanted - it's the stuff the pro's use and it's a great thing for everyone to have around the house.
is easy to tear

Serving me very well in my home studio!
I use this almost daily. It holds up well, is easy to tear, and I can often re-use sections multiple times before throwing it away.
