Yup, they light up! Probably a little less light output than an incandescent bulb but more than adequate for a night light.

Got these to replace halogen candle lights in decorative wine bottle light, fit as expected and the lights being LED do not heat up as halogen does.
Looks to put the same amount as the regular once the night light comes with.

Works great. Bee a while since I had to buy the little light bulbs but when I seen they had these and the amount they used compared to the once the night light came with it was a no question I had to buy these to save in the long term. They even seem to give the same amount of light as the 4w light bulb that night lights come with. I plant to buy more. Been over a month and they are still going strong even when I dropped one on somethibg solid nothing happen to it that I can tell.
Nice warm glow night light bulbs in LED form for long life and low heat

These are great for nightlights. They throw a warm glow, not the harsh stark white of many LED bulbs. I use these in the base of a Hurricane Lamp for soft gentle light in the bedroom, and they are perfect, as they glow warm toward yellow not white, and they don't get hot like a regular filament bulb. Plus, they will (hopefully) last decades of intermittent use.
