Nice design and works better than the rubber tip.
Yogi Bear•May 9, 2017
The fit my existing stylus pen which originally came with a rubber type tip. I like the hybrid tip, it is easier to move on the screen and doesn't make the marks on the screen that my rubber tip made after some use. The down side of the hybrid is that it does stop working as well after a time. It seems to not "grab and go" often, which I presume is the tip wearing out. When I replace the tip it works well with no problems.
Awesome! (...and at a great price!)

These nibs are a wee bit pricier but, I find these to be the best replacement nibs out there. I've tried every other brand that is reasonably priced (under $20) but they don't last like these do. I play a lot of "swiping" games on my iPad, (e.g., Candy/Soda & Jelly Crush, Bingo, etc) for way more hours per day than I'd care to admit, so, I go through A LOT of nibs. I like that these remain firm longer than the competition and the microfiber lasts (me) a couple weeks, or about 70-100 hours. I would guess that under "normal" conditions, one could expect to double or triple that.
Great for heavy users; sturdy, long life, cost effective

I tend to be pretty rough with my stylus and before I bought my amPen, I would buy styluses by the 12-pack every three to four months because I would wear down the tip to the point that it would leave black streak marks on my iPad screen after about a week of use. The streak marks would then transfer onto my iPad case, making my iPad case so filthy that I would have to buy a new case in addition to a new pack of styluses.
I've owned my amPen for over three years and have only needed to reorder the 5-pack tip replacements twice during that time. The tips are made with a mesh-like construction but are firm like most styluses, they are very sturdy, they never leave black streaks on my iPad, and they hold up for several months before needing to be replaced. And best of all, the tips are so cheap that I've saved literally hundreds of dollars not having to buy so many styluses.
Pros: Great for heavy stylus users; sturdy; don't leave black streaks on the screen; cost effective.
Cons: I honestly can't think of any cons about this product.

Tip-Top Replacement Tips
Silver Screen Videos•July 28, 2016
A few months ago, I learned a lesson about styluses. The tips can wear out (I'm sure there's a technical term for that) and no longer work on a touchscreen when you apply them. That was the end of Stylus #1. I bought a replacement and a few months later learned another lesson. If you press too hard on the screen with the stylus, you can actually rip the soft tip out of the band that holds it. That was the end of Stylus #2. I'm still on Stylus #3, and, for once, I got a pleasant surprise when I opened the box containing the stylus.
I bought the AmPen Capacitative Stylus, ASIN: B0059KTEBC (in black). It's a very popular stylus on Amazon with good reason (you can read my review there), but the description on the Amazon page said that it had a non-replaceable tip. So, imagine my surprise when the instructions indicated that you could replace the tip with these AmPen 7mm Replacement Tips. I was able to unscrew the tip on the stylus rather easily, so I went ahead and ordered the replacement tips, figuring I could return them if they didn't work.
The AmPen replacement tips work like a charm with the AmPen stylus, You simply unscrew the original tip and screw in the replacement. The whole process takes about 15 seconds. The tip is made from a different material from the original tip, which was a smooth black rubbery surface. Instead, the replacement tip is silver and has a mesh feel to it. Even though the original tip remains in good condition, I used the replacement for about a week to check out the operation, and it works perfectly. In fact, the replacement tip moves more smoothly over the surface of my tablet than the original does, although that may be because the original has been in use for several months. The replacement is the same size as the original, about .5" long and .25" in diameter, and only weighs about an ounce or so. The set of five replacement tips ships in a re-sealable plastic pouch, so you can easily remove and use just one and store the rest until needed.
My experience with my first two styluses has taught me the principle "better safe than sorry." For that reason, even though I've no current need for a replacement, this set of five tips gives me a good comfort feel for whenever I might need a replacement. Plus, if I lose or break my stylus, I can make sure the new one I buy matches the tips. At less than $2 apiece, these replacement tips are quite a bargain. I highly recommend these AmPen replacement tips as a smart investment and a good product.

Beware of amPen offers from Amazon

Could not figure out, from info provided on the site, if I needed 6 or 7 mm replacement tip
for the front (small end of my stylus). I purchased the 7 mm. It did NOT fit the small end but
it did fit the larger end so I kept the 7 mm and ordered the 6mm being fully confident that
the 6 mm would fit the smaller (tip) end. WRONG! So I returned them and still can't figure
out the size I need for the small tip end. Amazon either shipped the 7 mm again or, as (wrongly)
advertised, the 6 mm doesn't fit the smaller tip end either. Be careful; the package insert
does not indicate size and the product # for the 6mm is not to be found on the site either.
I bought 2, silver styli and cannot seem to be able to order the correct replacement tips.
Very un happy. The life span of both the large and small tips is very short although
it is very functional. Guess you're supposed to throw the pen away when the tips wear out.
I wrote TechMatte directly but Amazon intercepted my e-mail and sent me some legal
jargon on how they're allowed to do so.
Very Un Happy. I buy a lot of "stuff" from Amazon. Prime usually means excellent.?!
