I have bought many Access Denied wallets and always was pleased with the quality and workmanship.
I purchased this wallet April 24th 2023 and noticed it is coming apart, in my defense I have to say I take very good care of my wallet. I was shocked to see this happening after 2 months of use, it is such a beautiful wallet. All my other Access Denied wallets lasted me years. Very disappointed. I have to say that I have not reached out to the company since the warranty is only 30 days.

This is a review on the Access Denied RFID trifold wallet. I bought this product after watching a video of how easy it is for someone to "lift" information from a credit card using an electronic mechanism no larger than the credit card itself. The video was especially alarming as the setting was on a college campus and the demonstration involved key cards the students are given by the college to get into their dorms. The student can also add money to the key card to purchase books and to use for food allowances.

Literally the person demonstrating how easy it is to get credit card information illegally was standing in line behind a student. He cloned the information right off of the card that was in the students backpack and was able to access the dorm door on the outside of the building and then to get into the students room. The card was also an ATM of sorts and he was also able to use the cloned card in vending machines and to purchase books from the college bookstore.

The Access Denied wallet I received is attractive looking. Once I had put my credit cards into the wallet, I went up to work. I have an RFID electronic badge that I use daily to get into the building. I put my badge in the wallet and tried to scan the closed wallet. Nothing beeped to let me into the building. I also held the wallet up to the scanner at both open ends. Again nothing beeped to let me into the building. As soon as I took my badge out of the wallet and scanned it I was able to access the building. The wallet does work as Access Denied stated.

The wallet has plenty of slots for credit cards and ID...I can fit 17 credit cards and my drivers license into the wallet. I too found the cards a bit tight to get in and out of the slots at first; however, because it is leather, the slots have stretched to accommodate getting the cards in and out with no issues. Upon receipt, the wallet had a nice leather smell; nothing overpowering and since I like the smell of leather it didn't bother me.

I leave the checkbook part in the wallet as it also has slots for credit cards. I don't use checks so I have no issues with the wallet not closing. All in all, I love the wallet and although I use it every day, it still looks brand new. I just ordered one for my daughter as one of her accounts was compromised a few days ago and would recommend this wallet to anyone who wants to keep their credit card information safe.

I don't write reviews often so for me to even contemplate writing a review the product has to perform and for the last two years I feel that the wallet has outdone itself. Thank you Access Denied for a great product and Amazon for always delivering my orders promptly.

BUT, the little zipper pulls (which are supposed to be shiny gold like you see in my pic of the snap) arrived looking dull, old, missing color:(
And i noticed my fingers looked darker after touching them so i used a white napkin to rub whatever was on them off (shown in pic)"”i think it was the remnants of the blue dye used to stain the leather but not sure.
At any rate"”they make it look tatty:/
I would Not want to gift something looking like this to a friend:/

I purchased this wallet for its ability to keep my credit card info private. My previous wallet had loose credit card slots and the cards were always slipping out to be lost somewhere in the depths of my purse. This wallet keeps the cards pretty tight in place (I imagine over time they will loosen slightly as leather does tend to stretch over time) and there are lots of slots for all my credit cards, loyalty cards, driver's license, etc. so everything fits. There is also lots of room for money, including change, and extra space too to stuff receipts or other bits of paper until I get home. I am not sure what the complaints are about smell, as it just has a slight new leather smell which isn't unpleasant. I like too that the wallet has an inner, second, smaller wallet that is removable. I put my most used credit cards and loyalty cards in this smaller wallet and I can just pull this out of my purse for most of my purchases without having to always dig through the larger wallet, saving time at the check out counters.. I have been using this wallet for at least a month, and I am pretty happy with it.
