Best for Professional, Everyday Use

My Vergo S300L has performed well 5 days per week during 4 years of use. I typically use it to transport 75 lbs - 125 lbs over an average distance of about 100 yards from and to my car each day of use. Though I have not inspected it closely, the only obvious wear is the the foam splitting and pealing away from the handle. ----- This is a fairly heavy folding hand truck, but the lighter types I have used broke within a couple of years. It fits across the rearmost section of my Geo Metro, but just barely.

Had it for for 2 months and was great for what I wanted hauling my tools and parts in and out of customer locations. The fact that it folded up was great. But like many others the the plastic that operates the wheels in and out broke. now it is trash. never had more than 200 pounds on it.

it is rated at 400lds, but I only had 220 on it and the wheels kept trying to fold up under the load.
So strong it breaks itself.

At first glance this hand truck is great. I was shocked at how sturdy it was built. But as you may read in other reviews the part that manages the wheel deployment is plastic against metal and the plastic gets absolutely destroyed just by opening and closing it. It can carry 400lbs with ease to be sure, but it can't withstand itself. :-/

I have had this hand truck for 1 year before I had to replace the plastic bracing that held it together. I use it everyday to move heavy marketing samples around and found that it was able to easily hold up to 250 lbs. overall a very good item for the price. I just repurchased the item bc I was so happy with its performance, hopefully it will last more then a year this time. But like I said I used it a lot.
