Suction didn't work...my kids were uninterested
OliverIvy•October 6, 2017
I purchased for Christmas after seeing it as one of the hot toys on the Today Show. I was very disappointed. It would not suction to the high chair for more than a few seconds, and my kids could not have cared less about it. For the price I thought it would have functioned better.
Goos for a short pwriod of time.

We wish the toy was permanently affixed to the base right out of the box. Our (now) 1 year old would slap the heck out of this thing (we had it stuck to her high chair tray) and the top piece would end up being shot at the dog.
It was solid fun for her for about 2 months, then she was over it.

Baby is inexplicably obsessed
Lila•January 2, 2017
I'm not sure why, but my baby is obsessed with this weird-looking thing. When he was younger, he liked to gaze at it and touch the beads; now (at 8 months), he loves trying to shift the beads and making the whole thing bounce. Unlike some other posters (and an IRL friend), I haven't had any problems with the suction cup - and I've used it on a variety of surfaces.
Also, a relative mistook it for modern art and that was just hilarious.

would be a great toy if they fixed the suction cup

same thing as many posters have mentioned.. the toy is GREAT! but the suction is awful. the suction cup is very flat and somewhat misshaped. its very difficult to make it stand on a flat wood table. Once we do get it to stand, my 7mo old touches it and the whole thing falls over. he still plays with it even when its not attached to the table but his favorite thing to do is drop toys so it's not long before this toy gets tossed onto the ground. its a great looking toy that allows him to explore the different moving parts. unfortunately he gets the most use out of it when i'm sitting there, holding it down to the table for him..
Excellent quality

I'm not quite sure what I expected out of this toy. It is interesting to look at, but it doesn't hold my granddaughter's attention. She is more interested in breaking the suction and re-attaching it to the table. The movable parts require more effort than I had expected and don't really do much. Perhaps this is for an older child (my granddaughter is 16 months).
Positively speaking, the quality is excellent. The sticks, knobs, and beads are made of solid wood with durable non-toxic paint and the thick elastic bands are firmly attached.
