With the caveat I am HAZMAT certified at my workplace and have received training in the proper use of PPE ... I picked these up 'just because' for my home emergency supplies (albeit the situations where I would use this is very very unlikely). There are more robust Level A (and for that matter Level B) suits - the Level B suits at work are thicker / rubberized; whereas these are far thinner (to act as a barrier). Take home point - if you anticipate an environment with lots of 'sharps' a more robust suit would be a better choice. But I think this is a good value for a home emergency kit (chemical/biological/radiological) + duct tape + respirator + good gloves + boots.
Like I said - it *really* helps if you have had prior training.

I had the opportunity to use this - along with my sturdy rubber work gloves, Israeli-made gas mask and rubber work boots all duct-taped together - when I had to take out a yellow jacket nest when the buggers had eaten through my drywall in my bathroom and started spilling into our house. The XL fit me very well, although when I bent over I split the rear of the pants which I had to patch up on the fly with more duct tape. This is NOT full bee-keeper grade material, although I feel confident it would work okay for this application. Fortunately the little buggers only stung my gloves and facemask until they succumbed to the spray.
