Great flavor and aroma - it's not to bitter and ...

I'm very new to the whole Mate thing and I'm enjoying this product so far. My wife likes it too and shes typically a greentea/coffee drinker. We put 2 tsp in a teapot with about half litre of water, Great flavor and aroma - it's not too bitter and also has a very nice green/yellow color. It was delivered quite fast and the packaging was sturdy. One thing though - I wanted to preserve it better so I transferred it from the paper container to another container and a lot of "yerba" dust wen't up in the air so just be cautious if you are going to transfer the contents of the kilo bag.

It's like buying it straight from the supermarket in Argentina, and WAY more bang for your buck than the mate sold at organic food stores in the US.

This is pretty good. And this double size is a great price.
I've had several Yerba Mate 'brands', and i like this. AND the price is good.
As with all Mate's, you get some powder, leave parts, and some sticks, i think this is very typical.
I have a standard ceramic cup, but use a Bombilla straw, so i add warm water all day long
I understand that Yerba Mate doesn't 'go bad' [stale] like coffe, so a larger bag is OK
