For $20, this shelf is worth the purchase. Don't expect stellar quality, because that's not the price point for this. I did take off 1 star because the screw-in mechanism for the shelf legs is a bit crude. And the end caps are not ideal for hand screwing in, because there's no way to grip it. I wouldn't place too heavy an item on these shelves as it is super light weight, but check out my photo for what I did manage to put on it. Super light weight makes it easy to move around. For the price, this is just what I expected and received.

Bought this because I needed a shelf to display some of my collectibles. It happens to match my home office furniture colors so that made it lucrative...plus it had good reviews and was an excellent price. I am definitely not disappointed in this buy. It is perfect for a corner and fits quite a bit of stuff as you can see in the photo. It does not look cheap whatsoever. Super easy to assemble too - comes with directions but you really don't need them. Comes with a tie/anchor to attach to the wall to stabilize it if you wish (recommended on carpet or un-level surfaces) though if you distribute the weight evenly you don't even really need to do that) Hassle free...inexpensive...good size...really cant ask for more than that.

It's great! Mine's missing the top caps and the legs for the bottom. I let the seller know so hopefully they'll take care of that. Still stands up without the bottom legs. Versatile, light, and super low price. Can't go wrong.

I'm giving this 5 stars because I actually read the description and knew what to expect paying $20 for something! I didn't pay $20 and expect a $200 shelf. :) For right around $20 I got exactly what I expected.

I was tired of my husband's whiskey collection stuff taking up space on our dresser. I wanted something small enough to fit between the dresser and wall, but big enough to fit all of his stuff. The description said I was getting tubes and particle board, and I have to say that it looks pretty darn good considering the materials. Hubby put it together in less than 5 minutes. It gives us a bit of extra space. No complaints. It also comes with an anchor for the wall so that you don't have to worry about it tipping over. Having kids makes anchors a must! Glad I didn't have to buy separately.

I will be buying 2 more for the kids' rooms so that they can gain a little extra space for their junk without me having to worry about them ruining it. With the price it takes a lot of worry away.

While this is no high-end shelf, my five stars are based on easy of assembly and the general functionality of the product, not to mention the fact that I know what to expect for $20. It arrives in a rather small box, but you almost don't need instructions to put it together. It's pretty obvious where each piece goes, requires no tools at all, and can be done in less than five minutes.

I bought this for my new apartment, which doesn't have enough room between the wall and the bed for my nightstand. Needing somewhere to put my alarm clock, glasses, etc. when I go to bed, I was looking for pretty much anything that would fit in the space. I was actually searching for a super-skinny table of some kind when I saw this shelf, and the dimensions were just perfect. It's even a better solution than my night stand, since there are 5 tiers on which to place things.

I ordered the "Dark Cherry & Black" one. The tube are simple black plastic, and the shelves are particle board covered in a sheet of something that resembles cherry in color and some generic wood grain. I think the Dark Brown & Black would have matched my decor a little better, but for some reason, the cherry was substantially less expensive, and it didn't make sense to pay more for something that will rarely be seen by anyone except me and my dog. It's definitely a cheapie, but it doesn't look at all bad once put together and set up over in the corner. It's also very lightweight, which is great for someone like me trying to move it into place. I don't have it flush up against the wall, since I don't want it brushing against the painted wall in a rented place, but it holds steady enough, even through all my half-blind trying to slap the snooze button every morning.

If you're looking for a really inexpensive solution to a space problem, this little shelf is pretty perfect.
