Ours has a glitch!
Designs by Chris✓ Verified PurchaseJune 30, 2017
Remembering the fun my daughters and I had with Simon I purchased one for my grandson for Christmas. It has been a very frustrating experience for him because sometimes he will press the right sequence, but Simon doesn't acknowledge it and buzzes him. I have watched this happen several times, so there must be a glitch in the programming or an electronics issue. It wasn't a big expenditure, but it still should work properly.
Not as responsive as push button Simon Says
MakeCents✓ Verified PurchaseMay 21, 2017
This thing is much smaller than the traditional simon says, which is a good thing. The buttons do not push, they are touch sensitive, but don't always respond, causing you to push anyway, which does nothing, lol. My 6 year old daughter has a good time with it though, but gets frustrated with its lack of responsiveness, causing her to miss a press, after about 10 minutes.
Horrible product and there was no option for a replacement ...

Product arrived with some cosmetic blemishes and then the green pad stopped working after only a couple hours of use. Horrible product and there was no option for a replacement for a defective item, so we just returned it. My son really likes this game, so he was pretty upset when it stopped working after such a short amount of use at his birthday party.
Poorly made.

Ours quit working within a few days of being pulled from the package. When I looked at it more closely, it looked a little ding'ed up, as if it had either been previously used. Because I'd waited to give it as a birthday present, we missed the window of return.. Shoddy workmanship for a fun product. Buy the game, but do so from a store you trust.
Too loud
M. Szczepanski✓ Verified PurchaseDecember 26, 2016
The sound is pretty loud and there is no way to turn it down. I use to have an old school simon back in the 80's that took two AA and 1 9V. One battery controlled the sound and the other the lights. If I wanted no sound I could just take out the appropriate battery. This model just takes 3 AAs. I wish all toy makers would put volume control on their toys. My son enjoys it but doesn't want to play it if he is afraid the sound will annoy people around him.
