Works fine as advertised, easy to adjust and fine tune pitch, but does constrict the sound of the clarinet.

Works very well and sounds good! I haven't compared sound enough to conclusively give it *****, but it sounds better than my stock barrel, and the tuning range is very wide.
I Couldn't Figure It Out!

I was excited to finally have a barrel to help me play in tune. I was REALLY disappointed. There were no instructions to help me determine which way to turn the barrel, so I tried all different ways, and was playing so sharp at one point I wasn't even playing the note I was intending to play. No matter which way I turned it, it didn't make any difference. I'm a novice, so maybe I was supposed to know how to adjust it. This was absolutely useless for me. I am able to play closer in tune with the current barrel I have. I was also disappointed to have to deal with the manufacturer. They were helpful, but I paid a significant amount of money to return it to make sure it got back from them. I realize in order for Amazon.com to carry such a huge selection of merchandise, they need to use outside vendors. Advice from a novice: work on your intonation with embouchure adjustment, not some crazy "adjustable" barrel!
