I use this bit to make the final cut on bowls and trays. It is the smoothest-cutting bit of this type that I have ever purchased. Most users would probably not need to do any additional sanding at all, the results are so good. The finish on our products is buttery-smooth, so we finish the inside walls just a tad more with 220 and 400 sandpaper, and the bottoms just a touch with 400, but very little, after using this bit. In this case, you really get what you pay for. Highly recommended!
