Found this carrier to be heavy for one person to lift , it took longer to get up to and in the receiver than it did to build. I found the hard ware to be very cheap so I replaced all the bolts with American made ones and it fit much tighter and hasn't come lose since I've been using it. I found that the spring loaded pins on the ramp do not hold the ramp very tight and it rattles when folded up so I use bungee cord to solve this . Over all it was simple to put together and is very easy to load and unload my scooter a ( pride victory 10 )which fits perfectly. Lots of tie down points which is a plus. It works perfectly for my use which is to just haul my scooter around town for shopping etc. on long hauls I still dismantle the scooter and load it in back of my pickup where I never have to worry about it falling off .I don't think I could ever trust any carrier on long trips and is a reflection on me and not a reflection on this brand . For my purposes it does the job nicely and I solved the lifting problem by using my floor jack to do the heavy lifting. I am pleased with this unit and do recommend it ...

I was so excited when my wife and me took the old one out. Not looking at the way wheelchair goes up the ramp until I had too do it myself and guess what all the controls on my wheelchair are on the inside. The ramp I have foldes up on the driver side so the controls are on the outside I wasn't even going to say anything because of all the trouble I had to go through to get it

Works well but arrived with damaged parts that did not happen during shipping. Called the company and they responded quickly to make it right. Very satisfied with the way the product works.

I needed a heavy duty carrier and I got one. With that in mind, the first use one of the blue knobs fell off who knows where. One of the reflector screws would not start, had to re-drill the hole. I am thankful for the fold away and lift away features which makes for easier parking and driving.
