Exact replacement for Mercedes-Benz tape used to wrap interior cables - just as effective and messy LOL. Very happy to find it here on Amazon, works great by staying put and elimates rattles if a cable wrap happens to come in contact with a hard surface.

This stuff is great! I had a hard time figuring out how to tuck some wires in to my a-pillar (on an older truck with no interior trim) and used this stuff with some 3m double sided mounting tape. Came out looking really clean. Nobody even notices the wire bundle! I wrapped about 10ft of wiring with about half of a roll, making sure to layer in half widths. I'm buying another roll just to have it in my shop.

TESA Tape is the bomb! Very high quality and easy to use.
The tape is strong but rips with appropriate force, and rips cleanly, not leaving side strings like some other threaded tapes.
The adhesive is aggressive but not obnoxious. It clings to the wires or loom with authority, but is able to be removed and repositioned if done so in a timely manner. Also, when it (inevitably) sticks adhesive surface to adhesive surface, it can be pulled apart with relative ease, and still used.
The rich dark black color and cloth texture scream quality, and a BIG bonus for us northerners is the cushioning, sound deadening effect of the cloth (unwrapped wires, or wires wrapped in electrical tape tend to rattle inside the dashboard when the temperatures are below freezing).

Great stuff. A little hairy with those not things on it but otherwise amazing. Sticks well. Only thing is I'd probably want the tape to be a tad thicker so it doesn't stick on its self AS easy when you are taking them off.

This look matches the OEM loom used in my VW. I used this to wrap a wiring harness I built for a boost gauge and it really makes the cabling look stock. Additionally it does help keep cables neat and tidy but it's cloth like texture also helps prevent against wires vibrating inside the dashboard. Perfect loom in my opinion.
