I spent a lot of time comparing these Mirrycle bells. I think I made the right choice for my road bike. I've been happy with this one. Have had no problems with the strap. Stays in place where I put it on top of the handlebar grip tape. Had to reposition it and it wasn't a big deal to use a flathead screwdriver to press the little plastic tab down and then loosen the strap just like a zip tie. The bell is loud and has a nice sound to it. Has a single ding when you release the plastic button thing and it hits the metal bell. Would buy again. Great product for under $10.
Works mounted by the brake/shifter on a road bike.

Part of my weekend ride has to go along a multi use path filled with joggers, sightseers, and pedestrians. It gets crowded and I needed another way of alerting others on the path that I am coming up behind them. I have this mounted by the right hand (rear brake) on my road bike within easy reach of my thumb and if need be I could ding the bell and brake at the same time. I have the bell positioned so it does not get in the way of shifting or braking with Microshift brake/shifters. The bell's ringer can be rotated for the best fit for your preferences.
The packaging claims it will fit handlebars between 21mm to 33mm, I have 26mm handlebars not counting the bar tape.
Update 2015/07/21
For those having trouble getting the bell to stay in place, a piece of rubber from an old inner tube or handlebar tape between the handlebar and the bell's plastic band will keep the bell in place. I've had no issues with mine the way it's mounted on the video, plastic band over handlebar tape.

I like this bell

I like this bell, nice and loud. Like another reviewer, I mounted it upside down, and being black, matches my bike!
The Perfect Ding!

I love this little bell! I attached it to a mobility scooter (hated the weak little beep that came with the scooter). Now I can easily alert folks that I am trying to get through. How does it sound? Think of the guy in the wheelchair with the bell on Breaking Bad. Nice clear ding, but not obnoxious unless you want it to be (just like the guy in Breaking Bad). Now I can't be ignored so easily!
It does attach to larger diameter bars, and the location of the trigger is fully adjustable around the rim. I tried to put is on normal handlebars and it was actually too big for that (truly 15mm minimum).

Loved this little bell and it fit nicely on my recumbent trike bars (odd size), After a couple days of use, I decided to change its location. Big mistake! It took a few people, and finally a screwdriver, to get the bell removed. Unfortunately, the strap never gripped the locking slot again so the unit is in my metal scrap bin now. Well-built little bell with a nice crisp sound, but not very adaptable (as advertised) for moving from one installation to the next.
