Well I bought this amp because I am in a band and I wanted my own amp that was loud enough for a small venue gig and it completely worked for that. It's also a good bedroom amp, you can turn the volumen down and still be clear and it helps that you a headphone jack in there. The effects are good enough for them to sound nice if you know your way around them and the sound in general is good; like you would expect from a fender amp, cleans are great and the gain channel is not terrible but it could be better, I plan to get a Tubescreamer pedal so it sounds better. You can play most genres with this amp, but I tend to keep it between really clean stuff and mid-distortion and I think that sounds great. GOOD AMP.

Various options for affects make this a great deal. Has good sound quality for the price and packs a punch for its size. Perfect for jamming in a room or small office space.
Great Little Amp!

Great little amp. I use it with my guitar and electronic keyboard. It is just perfect for plunking around the house. So many features packed into a really small package. Great sound. My only regret is that I didn't spend the few extra dollars and get the 40 watt.
Good practice amp. Typical Fender product.

I still love my '65 tube Twin Reverb and an equally old Showman top with two speaker cabinets, but this is very handy for quick setups, for practicing, and jamming at a friend's house. Limited effects, but I have been able to use this with a Line 6 floor pod with major effects and many amp/cabinet simulations. Sounds real cool imitating a Marshall stack.
Great Fender

This is a great little amp. I have a big set up that is just sometimes a bit of trouble to fire up. You can overdrive those transistors and use the two different sound controls to play with the sound. I'm sure someone could take this to a really small venue and do very well. I like that I can plug in my computer and play along with backtracks.
