I LOVE these

These are great for catching hatchery raised trout. However, most of the local Bait Shops will carry these and, although they may charge a little more - you'll be helping the local economy by purchasing them locally, and you'll have a chance to talk to the store staff and find out where the fish are biting.
Mouse Tails Rule

Great alternative to paste and eggs if your using PowerBait material. Caught a lot of trout with this vs other artificial baits.
Sometimes the mouse tail isn't buoyant enough to float the hook up with tail (assuming you are using an egg sinker and sliding leader - drop shot, bobber or trolling won't matter that much.) A tiny hook (#12) will float with just the tail but a slightly lager hook I'd recommend putting a power egg on the hook first just to get more buoyancy.
Awesome, work like magic.

These are the way to go if you want to catch fish. Me and my family caught 22 fish in a matter of hours with these things. I could not get the fish off the hooks fast enough before another kid needed the net. If you use these and you have more than one rod in the water make sure you have more than one net.
Amazing.....

Here is a short story. I was at my local lake fishing catching a few here and there. Standing on the bank, I looked down and saw this white and pink mice tail. I picked it up and put in on and casted it out. While I was letting sink I felt the trout bite, set the hook and brought it in. The fish nearly swallowed the whole thing. I was able to get it out and let the trout go. I casted back out and another trout that took the bait in. Released it and casted out again and another fish. This time, I had to cut the line and release the fish. Amazing 3 cast, 3 fish! I didn't have anymore, even though I scoured the shore for another one, no luck. I went back to another plastic, but couldn't get them to bite like with the mice tail.
hold overs so nice size.
