Stopped using a percolator and started using a Krups 12-cup drip which we love. I don't know ... hassle in using these filters is probably one reason we changed machines. I suppose these filters do the job well, which is to contain the coffee for brewing, accounting for five stars. It's the whole percolator process which gets our thumbs down. Some people swear by perked coffee. Neither my husband nor I are members of that camp.
