Violin sounds and looks very nice. Overall I'm happy with it. However, a few things to mention:
1. The description says that an extra bridge is included, but there was no extra bridge.
2. The finish on the violin is a bit slapdash and shoddy. There were quite a few little dents, bumps and scratches on the front and back so from a distance the violin looks beautiful but close up there are quite a lot of imperfections.
3. The fine tuner on the E string doesn't work as the screw was bent out of shape, and the peg for the E string had already slipped.
Overall a lovely violin, but the details and finish seem to have been very half-heartedly done.

Forgiving and easy to play i feel i can only grow with such an instrument. Feels great to hold and play, with a nice warm sound. The back is solid with a flamed Maple veneer for astectics don't worry it is not a two piece back.
