Item is functional as pictured but is not made of all metal. Original description showed cast-iron weighing 12 pounds and shipping as 6.8 pounds, this description has since changed. It is clearly made of a polymer resin and not metal.
PERFECT

Still decorating my kitchen so you can't see the tin tiles I'm about to put down but this is amazing for my Steampunk kitchen

I'm satisfied, it's really quite nice. I'm still not 100% sure about what materials it's made from. It seems like iron, but parts of it could be a composite material - it doesn't really matter. It's not huge, but the size was included in the posting so I can't complain about that. If it's big enough for you, I would recommend it. Looks good, it's solid, and a fair price.
