These are solid hdpe bottles that are comparable to the laboratory Nalgene bottles I've had in the past. They work well with thermal cycling to liquid nitrogen temperatures without becoming too brittle, and so far are acid/base resistant, and can hold lab grade ethanol without wearing down.
