I was searching for the perfect chemistry kit for my 9 year old niece. She is very creative and loves hands on so I thought that this gift would be perfect. She loved it! She was able to do chemistry experiments while eating and drinking! She was able to use cabbade to make fizzy drinks, foaming jelly, pudding, and much more. I highly recommend it for a child who loves hands on activities. The price is also amazing for what you get. Children love to experiment and this is the perfect gift!

Got this for my daughter for Christmas and she is had a blast with it. She's 12 and loves to mix things and see what happens. I did to at that age but they didn't have stuff like this back then... I used to go into my grandma's kitchen and just start mixing stuff here and there - it would aggravate her to no end. She called it "gauming" as in "Now quit your gauming, you just making a big mess!!" LOL
My kid is absolutely no different. I buy her these types of kits all the time - and she love it! This one is especially cool because she can eat the mess. LOL
