In fact, the Bluetooth printer does not interface with any cash drawer. Squareup site is unclear, since it says the printer, cash drawer, and cable are all supported. They are supported, but not to work with one another necessarily.

Works with the square card reader. You will need a receipt printer and it works wonderfully. Easily 2 minute installation from the printer to the register and the drawer will open smoothly. If you cannot find a cash drawer with a USB port this cable works very well.

What can I say bar that this is the cable you will need if you're planning to do the Square setup with the Star Micronics printer and the APG drawer?
It essentially looks like an RJ-45 to Ethernet cable. The length is about 3 feet, so you can't put the receipt printer too far away from the register, but that shouldn't be a problem.
