Good price, my old dog loves it

Flies pretty well, and it's at a great price point for a disc that won't tear up
your dogs mouth. Due to the materials and wobbliness of flight I wouldn't buy it at the 10 dollar and above range, but while it's at 6 bucks that's a pretty great deal!

Good Dog, Bad Toy

Major disappointment! My German Shepherd loved it...for about one day. On day two, it broke. Yes, she has teeth, and she plays rough, but she's NOT a "tug o' war" type...I throw, she runs to get it, shakes it on the way back, and drops it at my feet to go again. On day two, the plastic ring that is sewn inside the hem, poked through. So, it didn't fly well, but worse, the hard plastic ring poked all the way through so I had to take this toy out of the play rotation because it could have hurt her mouth.
I gave it two stars instead of one because she did love it for the first day. If this was a fluke, I'd like to know.

Not as good as it used to be

I agree with the other reviewers who said that these are not the same as the older Nerf frisbees. The older ones were little lighter and flew wonderfully. These are heavier with a heavy ring around it which causes it not to fly as well. My dog used to love catching the old one but he has trouble catching this one and it doesn't fly straight and comes down too fast. My dog is not destructive and doesn't need the Frisbee to be heavy. I only replaced the old one because it was used so much it finally just wore out. But it lasted years. I wish they would go back to the lighter version and then maybe have heavy ones for more aggressive chewers. The old one would get a 5-star rating but this one only gets 3 and I am being generous because they are still better than plastic frisbees.
It's Not Bad

I bought the nerf frisbee because it looked basically the same as the Chuckit frisbee, but the rim is harder and it doesn't fly as straight as the Chuckit. It's ok, but having had the Chuckit, it's a little disappointing. I also got a new Chuckit frisbee but a different style and the rim on that one is harder too, and it also doesn't fly as straight as the smaller Chuckits with softer rims. Maybe it will take the dogs a little longer to destroy these though. And the price is good.
Better for a bigger dog - maybe 35 lbs & up

Ordered these because we had an older orange one (same exact frisbee) that my dog loves but had started pulling out the rubber rim from the outer edge. These are nice but a little thicker than the one i originally had (even tho exact same nerf frisbee - it was about 4 years old) and doesn't "float" as well, making it harder for my dog to catch. She's a year old and about 25 lbs. Very agile and a super fast runner - but this is tough for her to grab on the fly. Still on the hunt for the perfect dog frisbee.
