Beautiful and functional. We get many compliments from neighbors. They are very lightweight so we ended up securing them to decorative boulders with an eye screw. The rock also helped to distribute the water. If necessary, you can easily adjust the length my ordering an extra set.

They look great but only work if it doesn't rain. I've tried them on 2 different buildings with the same results; the water just bounces off of them and splashes over everything within a 4' radius. I would like to return them for something else that works.

A nice design, as far as looks go, but a bust functionally. With a 2-inch hole and fitted gutter reducer to channel the water onto the chain, I would guess less than half the water traversed the chain all the way to the bottom. Most water, especially with a heavy rain, sprayed over a 4-s.f. or more area. No what I had in mind, and not aesthetically pleasing. The other problem is a design flaw. The chain collects debris (pine or fir bud, maple seeds, etc.) which adds to the spray and must be laboriously picked out. I returned this chain and purchased from a different company that had videos of each chain in action--an easy way to see how the designs handled water flow.
