So I needed a nice shoe for my daughter's first holy Communion when I saw these shoes which came highly recommend. They arrived on time and looked nice. The buckle was slightly frustrating for my daughter to have to deal with though she said she could live with it. That said, for all of the beauty of the shoe, I'm not satisfied with the heel. I think that for a girl of six or seven years of age this heel is higher than it should be. My daughter walks awkwardly due to the height of that pump. It didn't look like a problem when I saw them online, however it's definitely too high and I don't want her to look silly wearing a shoe she can't walk comfortably in on her special day. I'll be returning and looking for a flatter pair. It's too bad because it is pretty.
