These extenders do not screw down like others I've had! The magnets just touch and do not hold my bracelet! It breaks open with very little pressure! In fact, I lost my bracelet! Would not trust them again! Am returning minus one extender!

This product itself is good. I have bought it twice. Once as a gift, once for myself. The second time the items were super dooper cheap and they never ever arrived. I complained and the manufacture said they were "back ordered." I wait some more. Never ever got them. I think it was a scam to get my credit card info. I cancelled the credit card and was never refunded my money. The first time I bought these through Miles Kimball and they arrived just fine. Do NOT order them directly from Amazon.

The gold turned pink in a few days, and one of the hooks was not perfectly functioning either. Well, at least I now know my chain is real since one of these turned color when it did not. They function great but who wants to wear garbage on their jewelry?

I can buy these at local stores, but the price is MUCH higher for fewer in a package. I love how quickly I can put on a necklace or bracelet now, and I don't have to ask for help. Haven't lost one yet, either. I might mention that you shouldn't try to pull the magnets directly apart. Several delicate necklaces of mine broke before the magnets would come apart! Just slide the magnet halves past each other in opposite directions to break the hold. The shipping was much faster than suggested in the description, which pleased me. I've bought these several times now as gifts for same-age friends who are also starting to have trouble with putting on and removing jewelry.
Working perfect BUT don't last very long.

These are working great. I'm actually using them to add to long owl necklaces to use for lanyards. Have the necklace, badge holder, zip clip and 3 badges hanging off of them and they have been holding great. Would buy again.
2/23/16 - Used one and the magnet came out the first time I pulled them apart BUT I stand by my statement that at $3.15 they are worth it and I would buy again. Just removed one star for quality.
3/24/16 - Have been using these for 3 months and the gold is starting to look tarnished. Hasn't left anything on my neck though and now matches the color of the necklace better soooooooooooo no difference in the stars, just a heads up.
4/7/16 - The finish is looking really bad but the magnet is working well as ever. Not deducting a star just giving a heads up about the quality of the finish. Now since I only gave a little over $3 I really can't complain. They are still worth that much.
