It is a beautiful piece. Glass in a metal frame, with brackets and chain for hanging or a block for a stand. But beware that it is actually 8 3/4 inches wide, NOT 6 1/4 inches as described! It is 10 inches in length as described. I could not use it in my 7 inch wide transom window as I had intended, which was very disappointing.

I was skeptical about this at first, for it's seemingly small size and the fact that the design is "painted on". But it's become my favorite piece of stained glass for it's elegance and simplicity. The grill work is very precise and techie looking, unlike the lead lines on traditional stained glass. And the painted color is indistinguishable from stained glass. I have this hanging from a window that overlooks a garden so I like the fact that I can see through it, mostly. And I actually like the smaller size. It was extremely well packed and arrived on time. No complaints at all, well worth the cost. In fact I bought another one for a different room.
