Love the Poppin Cookins!!!

This was a great deal! I used to travel to Japan a couple of times a year, and I would bring these home to my kids. They LOVE them!! They don't taste the greatest (in my opinion), but they are super fun to make. It doesn't matter that the instructions are in Japanese, because there are a ton of youtube videos showing how to make them. Also, kids are smart and once they get the gist of it, they have no problem figuring it out. Buying them in a bundle didn't cost nearly as much as it would have, individually, assuming you are lucky enough to find a local Asian market that carries these. I have seen them retail for $10-15 a kit! The shipping was fast, and they were packaged well. I would definitely buy these again! Having such a variety, I would take these out every so often, to reward my kids for good school work & nice attitudes :)....oh, and these make a nice gift, because once their friends see them, they are all dying to try it too. Don't go for the American version of these...the Japanese ones are so much more fun!!!
Kracie popin cookin 9 set review

I was so excited when they came in!! they are all what I expected, but I got the Kracie chocolate cornet set instead of my waffle set. which was a little bit of a disappointment to me bc I really like the waffle set. Although they forgot messed up my order a little, I was not expecting them to throw in some extra Japanese candies! This will make up for their mistake. My package was expected to be delivered from sept. 12-oct. 3 and it came on sept. 18, which is good. so overall I am happy with it.
Overall, it was really fun.

This is a pretty nice deal considering where it came from. The wait is a bit extensive, but if you're not paying shipment, how much does it really matter? Anywho, I've tried every single one except for the waffle so far since I'm saving that one, so let's go.
>The decoration cake was more fun to make than eat. It cooked relatively fast so mine was a bit hard and slightly chewy, but other than that, it was still pretty good.
>The cake shop, however, tasted really bad. It didn't taste like anything. Kind of like glue, maybe. Only the cones were good.
>The hamburger kit probably blew my mind the most. It tasted pretty close to a burger, fries, and coke. The burger and fries tasted more like it was stale, but it was still astounding how close the taste was. The soda mix fizzed when I added the water and it smelt exactly like coke, but it tasted flat. It was pretty impressive nonetheless.
>The donut kit was also more fun to make than eat. They weren't really good. More doughy than anything.
>The Nericanland kit was fun to shape into whatever I wanted. There wasn't a lot of candy, but it tasted really good.
>The Oekaki Gummy land kit was both fun and delicious.
>The sushi house and bento kit was really fun. Everything tasted the same, which kind of sucks, but it was still good. I just didn't really like the texture. The best part about this was probably the black sprinkle-like candy for the panda. It made it taste a little better.

Hope this helps anyone looking to buy this!
These are sooo much fun to do with your kids

These are sooo much fun to do with your kids. If you do not buy them, you are not a good parent (just teasing) :P

My daughter and I have had loads of fun making these kits... the instructions are in Japanese, but we have found English versions on the internet. Even still, once you've done a kit or two, you pretty much know how to make any of them.

The amount of detail you can go into with these is amazing. We opted to have a little fun and not follow the decoration instructions perfectly. And, yes, some of the items do taste like the real food. The "burger" was different, but the french fries honestly tasted like McDonalds fries. It was a bit creepy at first but hey, you only live once.

My daughter had shown me a video of a father/daughter doing one of these kits on YouTube. She was fascinated (and I kinda was too). I ordered us this package of several kits to surprise her with- she was extremely happy.

The company that we ordered from also threw some bonus Japanese candy in the box for us (thank you!). This included strawberry Twix which, if you haven't had, you need to go to Japan and buy some ASAP.
We are giving it a 4 star because it's really fun to make but it doesn't taste that good

My 13 year old daughter loves this stuff. We are giving it a 4 star because it's really fun to make but it doesn't taste that good. The price is affordable, but it does take a month to receive. The price is pretty amazing since the shipping alone from Japan would cost as much, but it did arrive on the first day of the expected arrival date. It will make a great b-day present or favors, or even a craft to do at a party. I thought it was childish for my 13 year old at first, but it can be fun even for adults!
