Great case! Highly recommended

I bought this for an underwater photoshoot, it worked perfectly! It's a heavy case indeed but you know for sure that you will not get any water inside and pictures came out crystal clear! highly recommended
Perfect Underwater Pictures!

Great purchase, used for snorkling.
This sony camera is hard to make a diving case for, but I really didn't like the ikelite case

To be fair, because of the 30X zoom, it's actually quite hard to make a case for this sony camera. My personal recommendation is to consider getting another camera for diving (one with less zoom since zoom past 3X is useless under water anyway).
But this Iikelite had multiple problems.
- First, it's huge and heavy to transport in your luggage. Somewhat unavoidable for this camera, but warning you anyway
- The diffuser is flimsy and doesn't stay on well when diving. Also due to the camera design, it's only able to pass a little bit of flash through, so you won't be happy without a strobe (making everything even bigger)
- When the camera is zoomed out, you will see the corners of the diving case (not much, but still)
- The diving case is impossible to use with one hand, you'll need 2 hands to take pictures (for instance, zooming one handed is not going to happen)
- The shutter is a stupid side lever, taking brain retraining to use. You'll find yourself shutting the camera off with the power button when you're trying to take pictures
- And the worst part is that you need a screwdriver to remove the camera from the housing to replace the battery or the memory card.

Summary: this is not a good camera for diving, and Ikelite made multiple mistakes with this housing, making it even more unpleasant to use the camera under water. I returned mine and will be buying another separate camera for diving.
