Not Really a Test Chart -- For Either Color or Resolution
Gallery90May 2, 2018
This isn't much of test chart.

The whole chart is printed as a half-tone so the colors will be closest to "true" when your lens is out of focus -- or you have a lousy lens to start with. There is a reason that real color charts (Kodak/Tiffen, Datacolor, etc.) cost 2 - 5 times more

Worse, the resolution targets are also printed as half-tones. In the centers the black lines are actually black, with white between the black lines. But the edges of the black lines have "jaggies" that make the target unusable for any actual measurement.

If you want resolution targets, search online for "USAF 1951 resolution test chart". You should be able to find links that allow you to print targets yourself, and also directions if you want to get down to details.
Excellent Value for a Versatile Set of Test Cards!

Very pleased with the purchase. Would like instructions, but received great answers when I requested user inputs on Amazon. I set up the three cards in my basement arranging them in a diagonal to get a 33 x 24.75" test, which is exactly the 4:3 aspect ratio of my sensor. This is more demanding than simply taking an image of a single card and works very well for wide angle lenses. I use the test set up to find the sweet spot of my new and legacy manual focus lenses. By changing the ISO and the aperture, I can also see where performance drops off, compare lenses and cameras, examine depth-of-field, check AF accuracy (and my manual focus ability), color balance, etc. I compare results with known combinations of newer lenses and cameras tested by www.dxomark.com and get a feel for the how combinations (such as my legacy lenses) not tested by dxomark stack up against my cameras and lenses that are in the extensive dxomark database.
It is useful for checking colors and focusing a camera

3 sheets of this thing. Well it is what you would expect it to be. It is useful for checking colors and focusing a camera.
Not sure why I need 3 sheets of the same thing, but that is what I got, and that is what they said they'd send me, so that's okay.
On the back is a barrel distortion check grid... okay.
Sturdy and easy to use

Well conceived and made. Sturdy and easy to use. The figures and printings are uniformly excellent. A highly useful tool which I can recommend unconditionally. The price is reasonable too. My only reservation is that, in my humble opinion, the product is a bit small and would serve more effectively if it were larger.

YES I WOULD RECOMMEND this product to friends and family members.
Not really worth it

They did a nice job for the price making something pretty, but it is too small be be useful. The color squares are much too small, and who needs a test pattern from the 70's? The larger white/black balance cards (which I got at the same time) are the solution to easy white balancing. I think it would be interesting to have large rgb squares sometime, but the ones on this were just too small.
