The patina is what makes it great

The patina has a "worn" look to it and that is really what makes the piece great. If it did not have a worn look it might be cheesy. But the patina really makes the box classy. These are really great pieces. Pay attention the size, because they vary greatly.

Ordered 2. One came with bubble wrap other didn't. One has a deep cut through the entire width of box. Cuts through each letter of bottom line. Disappointed in that but other is perfect. Will give better one as gift to a college student who is struggling.

My mother absolutely loves these primitives. I bought this one specifically for a mother's day gift bundle.. the lettering is beautifully done, the boxes stand nice and tall and straight. Not once fallen over.
