A really clean, slick and modern look. My contractor had never seen this product and was really impressed. Great solution for mounting a flat screen on a wall. Especially if you open the drywall to string the cables and run the power (well, only if the drywall is opened). If you're doing a renovation in the area where you're going to mount a TV, I highly recommend this on the TV end. I used a "companion" product on the other end for the cables (RiteAV - 3 x RCA - 2 X HDMI and Coax Cable TV Port Wall Plate). It is basically a clean way to run extension signal cables inside the wall, you get the AC power from another source within the wall.

I have not installed this yet. but it seems to be a quality product. I wanted to recommend buying two. I wanted to run hdmi to my tv mounted on the wall. so i bought one to put behind the tv. But now i realize I need another one for where my cable box is; to plug into it. I am sure all you other guys thought of it. but for people like me. buy two.

A relatively simple install for our application. We were able to utilize this plate for wall mounting our tv over our mantle and disguising our cables by running them behind the wall. Since a lot of our audio componentry is now tv-mounted and/or wireless, our needs were limited and this plate offered all the basics we required. Some other plates offered a plethora of endless connections, which we didn't realistically foresee needing for our setup. It was nice to have a streamlined and whittled down option to avoid having massively oversized plate on our wall.
