I've been using this for a couple of months and it hasn't skipped a beat! It has an audible hum as compared to my 1000w step down from the same manufacturer but that's to be expected.

Bought this transformer to go with our 800W Bosch Universal Plus Mixer (moving back to Europe). The good news, the transformer has performed brilliantly for over a year now. The bad news, the plug pins are cheap metal and one pin actually snapped off! There was no weight on the plug...have never had anything like this happen before.
